#189- Creative + Smart People have a Creative + Happy Life :)

Tonight, Ms. Suzy Sachs / a producer ( http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0755194/ ) invited me to her house for her family dinner.

She is a very creative person and her husband, Hunington (A successful lawyer, and he has so many “professional” hobbies) is also a creative person.

What a powerful + great married couple.

Their house is very stylish and Suzy has a great taste for interior etc. They have a great taste of life, especially they are great at cook!

Suzy said, “The combination of the flavors; sweet, sour, salty and savory... It's like magic in your mouth. : ) ”

Sounds like a real life… Sweet, Sour, Salty and Savory…!

The dinner menu was: Homemade mango ice tea, Vietnamese style dishes / Wrap with mesclun (from their garden) + #1- Crispy rice cake & fresh mint with garlic ginger chile sauce, #2- Squid with lime garlic chile sauce, #3- Spicy turkey ground meat, #4- Bean sprouts, #5- Carrot & Radish, Homemade beer, and Vanilla ice cream & Mango sherbet with cookie & pecan.

The dinner was perfect delicious!!!

***

Homemade beer???

The beer is homebrewed patersbier which is a Belgian style beer.

OMG, it was first time, I tasted a homemade beer. It was sooooooo good!!!

Wow, I am very impressed by Hunington’s hobbies. He has a blog about it at Hunington Sachs Brauerei (http://huningtonsachsbrauerei.blogspot.com/).

Suzy said, “I don't watching TV, so I do as much crafty things as possible. We like to make everything as fresh and homemade as possible everything from craft beers, organic home grown vegetables and herbs, to unique things like charcuterie, dried fruits we put into teas, homemade marmalades like grapefruit marmalade jalapeño and more!”

***

Their daughters (Sabine and Hanneke) are beautiful and smart.

Me: I watch “Pretty Little Liars”! Do you watch that?

Sabine (She is 16 years old) : Oh… I watched it once, but the show is for kids.

Me: Oh…the show is my favorite! I am a kid, huh!

She is a smart girl and I enjoyed our conversation.

Hanneke (She is 11 years old) asked me about Japan a lot. She told me she loves Japan.

She showed me her favorite doll from Japan.

I showed her how to write my name in Japanese, and I wrote her name in Japanese.

I felt like we connected to each other and we became friends. I felt like, I am a 12 years old girl :)

***

At the table, I liked we prayed before the dinner.

They are messianic Jews.

Most of my great friends are Jewish people. I love them very much, because they work hard and they play hard. They enjoy their life as much as they can. I love that.

I am a spiritual person, but I don’t have a religion. I sometimes I would like to go to the temple or church to feel my GOD… so, like tonight, I felt GOD around me with Suzy & her family.

***

After dinner, I became a 48 years old woman again. We (Suzy, Hunington and I) had a great conversation from Food, Japanese pop culture to the Second World War.

Five hours later, they gave me nice gifts (Japanese eggplants from their garden & Homemade loquat jam).

What a wonderful night. Wonderful people + Wonderful food + Wonderful conversation = Wonderful night + Wonderful feelings.

Life is beautiful and Love is around us :)

Happy everyday to you :)

#188- Nightmare…!

Nightmare is bad?

#1- I was watching the Chinese airplane (I read Chinese character on the airplane) over my head, then the airplane crashed into the place where is next to my room (I live in the corner of the building)…! I was trying to help them. I was calling, calling, calling…!

#2- Two housebreaker burglars broke into my room, then they told me, “If you escape or make noise, we will kill you. Be quiet! ”… but two guys went to my bed room and they were displaying my jewelry on my wall, it seemed like they were making a boutique in my bed room. So I thought I can escape from them! And I opened the front door, then my neighbor was there, so I told her “I am in danger”, but the burglar came after me… so I ran, ran, ran…and suddenly the building was not my apartment… it was a castle… I was in the castle! And I was running, running, running…!

#3- I was in the dormitory and I was sitting in the chair, then a cute guy smiled at me, so I smiled at him too. Then I heard the beautiful voice from next to me. The woman’s voice on the phone was so beautiful. She talked with a very sophisticate way and her voice was so comfortable to listen like music. I told her that “You have a nice voice! How did you learn to talk like that?” And I realized that the cute guy stole my bag… I screamed, “I have 600 dollars in my bag!!!”. Then I was crying, crying, crying…!

What a nightmare…! I saw these nightmares in last two weeks.

I keep a dream diary, so I wrote down these dreams in it. And I researched why I saw these nightmares…it was fun to find out :)

*******

Real nightmare?

#1- I was almost scammed by a script/book agent the other day…!

#2- My computer is so slow…!

#3- I lost *** the other day…!

These nightmares happened in last two weeks.

*******

But… wait a minute!

#1- I got a new friend who is a very nice guy (Mr. P.T).

#2- I had a nice lunch time with my friend (Ms. K.G).

#3- I had a nice meeting with my friend (Mr. N.S) and the president (Mr. A.F) of Sony Digital Entertainment.

#4- I had a nice meeting with the script writer / director (Mr. R.R).

#5- I had a nice conversation with my friend (Ms. A.E).

Yes, my nice things are more than my nightmares in last two weeks so far…

I appreciate everything around me. Thank you!!!

How is going your weekend? I hope you don’t have a nightmare and you have a lucky thing in your life :)

Happy everyday to you :)

#187- 90027

Between the deadline and the deadline, I had a great lunch time with Kimberly (my sweet, sweet friend) at her home office today.

Kimberly wrote me an email a couple of weeks ago…. “HELLO Ladybug!!! I'm now your neighbor, so I was thinking we should get together and catch up. Do you want to come by or I can visit with you?”

Me: I wanna see your new place :)

Kimberly: Lunch? x

Me: Let's do :) I will bring something!

Kimberly: You bring your smile :) 12pm ok? x

Me: 12:00pm is great :) Let me know where you are. x

Kimberly: ******** LA CA 90027 *buzz top black box x

Me: Wow, same zip code :) I will bring my famous sandwiches for us :)

Kimberly: YUM, ok I'll have very simple salad or soup.

Me: I look forward to seeing you!

[This morning…]

Kimberly: Sorry my intern D*** will be with us. I'll share my sandwich :)

Me: I can make some extra then :) xoxo

Kimberly: So sweet! x

I like Kimberly very much, because she is always sweet. Who could say always, “You bring your smile :) ” ?

I really appreciate her friendship.

*******

Kimberly is an owner of PR company, PUREconsulting (www.pureconsultinginfo.com).

Her home office & showroom is very beautiful and stylish like herself.

Many people want to work with her, because she is a very reliable person. I can trust her anything.

Today, we had my turkey hamburg[er] steak (we, Japanese people eat hamburg[er] steak as a main dish, like a meatloaf) sandwich, my coffee caramel sauce sandwich and her salad.

We had the “SEX AND THE CITY” moments and I really had a nice time with her and her intern today.

And I was a FENG SHUI counselor for her new place, but she has already great FENG SHUI at her place. She didn’t need my help.

*******

When I got an urgent project last night (the deadline was tonight. Yes, I finished it!), I was almost going to tell her that “can I get a rain check?”, but I didn’t.

Promise is promise (especially, we made our plan long time ago) for me, and I really wanted to see her today.

I managed everything fine today. My feng shui is working as well :)

Great friends make my life colorful. Thank you for all my friends!

How was your day? I hope you had a nice day too :)
