#97- My birthday was…

Yoko,

“May your birthday be just the beginning of a year filled with life’s richest joys and happiness.”

Wishing you a very Happy 46th Birthday!

It is amazing that we met over 20- years ago! Of course you look the same…and haven’t changed since we met. I will never forget the day…Should I say…early morning when we first met. I have so many fond memories…from “Go hey cutie”…to “Make up Madness”…to “” stuffing 10-pieces of Sushi” in your mouth…to watching “Japanese drama together”…to “Celebrating many Birthdays”…and it just gets better and better.

We have shared many many laughing attacks…and laughed hard…so hard that my eyes teared up. You always put a smile on my face & warmth in my heart.♡

I feel so luck to have shared so much with my dearest, oldest friend ♡ Yoko……..

It has been such an honor to know you and share a deep bond and sisterhood together!

You are the BEST friend anyone could ever ask for!

Looking forward to sharing many future Birthdays to come♡.

Warmest Birthday Wished& Love,
Suzie

**********************************************

Yesterday, it was a perfect birthday with my best friend, Suzie.

Thank god, even though Suzie was busy working with TV project yesterday, she put my birthday things all together.

She picked me up and took me to the sushi bar (SUSHI GEN/ Honda plaza 422 E. Second St. Los Angeles/ 213-617-0552).

I ate soooooooo much delicious sushi and sushi chef (his name is Kazu) gave me a “Tenugui” (a thin Japanese hand towel) as a birthday gift. What a nice Sushi place (I usually go to the other Sushi bars in Hollywood and West Hollywood, but I really loved this place which Suzie’s favorite place)! SUSHI GEN people sang “Happy Birthday” song for me and served me a fruits plate & mochi-ice cream with candle as well.Oh…I am really appreciate with Suzie and SUSHI GEN!

Birthday gifts from Suzie are so fabulous! The birthday card(see above), cute necklace, beautiful book mark, gorgeous stationary box of 10 cards & 10 envelopes with initial Y design, cute two art works from her daughters, CD of Twilight and cookies! Oh…these are my treasure!!! I loved them all!

After dinner, we went to open 24 hours place, Astro Restaurant in Silver Lake for coffee & dessert. We had fun until midnight.

This morning, I woke up with such a nice feeling.

Every day is a new day, but I really feel “special new day” starting from yesterday.

I hope you are having a nice new day too.

#271-Why people fight?

Why do human beings keep fighting with each other or fighting wars?

About profit?

About territory?

About religion?

About ethnicity?

About statism?

About collectivism?

Why can’t we talk instead of fight (war)?

People are trying to change others…

People don’t want to change for others…

People think “I am right, you are wrong”…

I was thinking about “how can we resolve issues of terrorism and war in this world, can we talk instead of fighting?”

And then I realized “I need to think about my issue first” (since I moved into my apartment in Montrose one year ago)… yes, I have an issue about my living situation… my upstairs neighbor (64 years old woman who is not working) has been waking me up every night (around 11:15pm, 12:15am and 1:15am) with loud squeezing footsteps (it sounds not normal & regular footsteps) for one year… I had to call police twice, and I fought with this neighbor twice…

I tried to go to bed at the same time when this neighbor goes to bed… it doesn’t work (for me late night ene…

#257- SLUT? in L.A.

Do you know about “The Slut”?I mean, “eggslut”?

If you don’t, you will enjoy my column on Senken-Shimbun (major Japanese fashion business newspaper) website.

Here is my translation of my column into English from Japanese.
Enjoy :)

Title of this column: From L.A. “Slut?”

Since a few years ago, I have been noticing the egg shape sign of “eggslut” (http://www.eggslut.com) on the way to L.A. fashion district in downtown Los Angeles.

“Slut” means in Japanese “bimbo”, “whore”, “hooker” and “slut”.
“eggslut (a woman is sleeping around with eggs)”? This shocking name of the restaurant has been bringing curiosity to me.

This restaurant (“eggslut”) has a counter at the “Grand Central Market” which is also famous as a tourist popular spot, and when I drive by this place my curiosity about this place is getting bigger and bigger, because I always see a long line in front of…

#273- My last email to an upstairs neighbor

After I watched abc TV 20/20 CATFISH episode (Hooking a Catfish) “How this Canadian woman catfished an NBA star and an aspiring model, almost ruining their lives” (http://abcnews.go.com/US/canadian-woman-catfished-nba-star-aspiring-model-ruining/story?id=46778331) , I totally understood about how my upstairs neighbor (woman) is thinking…
These sick women are boring about their lives and they want to make other people miserable like them.
As I wrote my blog post on April 19, 2017, I’m having a trouble with an upstairs neighbor… I was very angry but lately I feel sorry for her… she is a lonely woman (she only goes out two hours per week for grocery shopping, she doesn’t have any visitors, she is similar to that Canadian woman) and she wants someone’s attention to make her life excite and fun (in this case “evil fun”)…

For me no matter what, I’m always happy… I appreciate my life…

Today after I saw this upstairs woman was walking around my home and peeking my home (where I sit or what am I …
